Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Airport Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, we’ll be there to greet you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Once you’ve settled in, our safari manager will meet you at the lodge for a short briefing, providing all the details you need for the days ahead. Afterward, you can unwind and enjoy your first night in Tanzania. A delicious dinner is included at the lodge, and your overnight stay will be at the charming Mount Meru Game Lodge.

If you’re arriving via another airport, such as Dar es Salaam or Nairobi, we’ll gladly arrange your transfer to Arusha. From Dar es Salaam, we recommend taking a flight, while from Nairobi, you have the option of a scheduled shuttle bus, a private vehicle transfer via the Namanga border, or a flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. We’ll make sure your journey is smooth and stress-free.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure kicks off bright and early at 8 a.m., right after breakfast. Your expert safari guide will pick you up from your hotel, lodge, or hostel in Arusha, and you’ll be on your way to Tarangire National Park. The drive takes about 2 hours, getting you to the park gate by 10 a.m., where your wildlife exploration begins.

You’ll spend the entire day on a thrilling game drive, discovering the highlights of Tarangire National Park. Prepare to be amazed by:

  • The Elephant Paradise: Home to the world’s largest concentration of elephants.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Today, we embark on a longer drive to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. After a hearty breakfast, we’ll set off at around 8 a.m. The drive takes approximately 3 hours, but rest assured, it will be filled with fascinating sights. We’ll arrive at the Serengeti Gate just in time for lunch at 1 p.m. Here, you can enjoy your meal and take a short walk to stretch your legs. After our hour-long break, the adventure continues with a half-day game drive, allowing you to start exploring the incredible wildlife of the Serengeti. By 6 p.m., we’ll arrive at the lodge for the night.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park Whole Day

On day 4, you’ll immerse yourself fully in the wonders of Serengeti National Park. The entire day is dedicated to exploring this iconic landscape, and you’ll have the flexibility to decide with your safari guide when to head out for your game drives. By around 5 p.m., you’ll return to the lodge, where you can unwind after an exciting day.

You’ll enjoy lunch by the lake, where you can watch hippos in their natural environment. By around 3:00 p.m., we’ll start our journey back to the lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park marks the final stop on your safari adventure. We’ll start the day around 8 a.m., making our way to this small yet wildlife-rich park. Despite its size, Lake Manyara is home to a remarkable variety of animal species and vibrant birdlife. You’ll enjoy lunch by the lake, where you can watch hippos in their natural habitat.

Around 2 p.m., we’ll begin our drive back to Arusha, a journey that takes about 2 hours. By 4 to 6 p.m., you’ll be back at your lodge in Arusha, ready to relax after an unforgettable safari.
