Detailed Itinerary
Day 0: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
As you step out of Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal Tanzania Specialist guide will greet you with a warm smile and a hearty ‘Karibu Tanzania – welcome to Tanzania!’ From there, you’ll be taken straight to your hotel, where you can unwind and soak in the unique African ambiance. The following day, your guide will take you on a private, exclusive safari, allowing you to travel at your own pace in the comfort of your own safari jeep. Enjoy the freedom to stop and observe the wildlife for as long as you wish! If you’re arriving at a different airport, just let us know, and we’ll arrange convenient transfers to ensure you reach us effortlessly.
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you’ll head to Tarangire National Park to begin your safari adventure. This incredible park is known for having the largest elephant populations in the world and a diverse range of bird species, especially during the dry season. You’ll have the chance to see majestic big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as the rarely spotted Kudu, Oryx, and Gerenuk. With a bit of luck, you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive tree-climbing python. The Tarangire River attracts massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, along with the predators that hunt them, making for an exciting wildlife experience.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, your Romantic Luxury Honeymoon Safari continues with a drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive and a picnic lunch. This is one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhino, with fewer than 1,000 of these incredible animals left in the wild. The crater is also home to a variety of other wildlife, including zebras, wildebeests, hippos, gazelles, hyenas, and more. It’s a fantastic opportunity to experience some of Africa’s most impressive animals in a stunning setting.
Day 3: Central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you’ll drive to One Nature Nyaruswiga Camp for lunch and a relaxing short siesta. In the afternoon, you’ll head out for an exciting game drive in the Serengeti. Known for having the largest concentration of big mammals in the world, the Serengeti offers incredible wildlife sightings. Keep an eye out for prides of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hippos, impalas, warthogs, topis, crocodiles, and much more. It’s a thrilling chance to see a diverse array of wildlife in one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes.
Day 4: Another day Central Serengeti National Park
Start your day with an early morning game drive in Central Serengeti, where you’ll search for active predators and other wildlife. After a break for lunch, you’ll set out for an afternoon game drive to continue exploring the diverse wildlife in this vibrant area. It’s a great opportunity to spot the Serengeti’s exciting predators and observe the fascinating behaviors of various animals throughout the day.
Day 5: North Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you’ll drive to North Serengeti, enjoying a game drive along the way. In the afternoon, you’ll set out for a game drive along the Mara River. This area offers an excellent chance to witness the Great Migration, with an estimated 3,000,000 animals crossing the river. You might even see crocodiles waiting for their opportunity to strike. It’s a thrilling and dramatic display of nature in action!
Day 6: Another day North Serengeti
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in North Serengeti along the Mara River. With an early departure, you’ll have the chance to explore the dramatic Great Migration as it crosses the Mara River. This area provides incredible opportunities to witness the vast herds of wildlife and the thrilling river crossings.
Day 7: Zanzibar
In the morning, your driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your driver and taken to the Next Paradise Boutique Resort. Enjoy a relaxing dinner and spend the night in a charming beachfront bungalow.
